The Student Life Coach offers one to one life coaching sessions specifically for university students to help manage wellbeing or mental health issues.
University life can be great, but it can also be challenging for a variety of reasons, especially since the corona virus pandemic.
The coaching sessions provide support and guidance to help manage issues such as:
Anxiety, Stress, Low Mood, Motivation, Managing Change, Isolation, Low Confidence and Depression.
This might look like:
'I feel overwhelmed with everything and don't know how to cope'
'Uni isn't what I thought it would be like and I feel down about it'
'I need help with motivation to do the things I need or want to do'
'I don't feel good enough'
'I don't know if I'm making the right decisions about my future'
'I'm struggling to make friends and I feel lonely and isolated'
'I feel low and I don't know what to do to'
Through the principles of Life Coaching, we will challenge internal negative thoughts and ideas and explore alternative ways of thinking to ultimately improve your overall wellbeing and mental health.
During your sessions, we will identify what it is you want to achieve and you'll receive a personalised action plan with tips and tricks on how to manage your feelings and the steps you need to take to get you there.
The support and action plans you'll receive fit around YOU as an individual, because we all think and work in very different ways. So you can be reassured that your sessions are focused on your worries and your action plan is designed to be achievable for you.
It can be really difficult to hold yourself accountable to the personal and academic goals you make, so having a non-judgemental, objective coach can keep you on track and motivate you to get to where you want to be.

Maintenance sessions available to keep you on track
The initial session is all about you.
It's where I will create an assessment of your needs, the areas you're struggling with and the things you want to change.
We will also look at your strengths and how we can build upon this to expand to other areas of your life.
You will receive individually tailored strategies, tips and tricks to help you manage your specific issues and challenges.
Following this session you will receive a bespoke action plan based on our discussion, with practical advice with individualised tips and tricks to help you manage your mental health and wellbeing.
Your student support sessions are conducted via Skype, Instagram DM or over the phone - whatever you feel most comfortable with.
The Maintenance sessions keep you on track with the goals we set in your last session.
We review how things have gone since we last spoke and talk about what can be done to support you now.
We will talk about what has worked well for you and what needs to change. We will revise your action plan to ensure it continues to suit you as an individual.
We set your next set of goals to keep you on track and moving forward.
You will receive in the moment tips and tricks to help you manage issues and challenges.
